Silverstone Guest House Access Statement 

Introduction
Our home, built from stone in 2007 is set down a quiet bridleway and offers two guest rooms with spacious living accommodation and within 20 minutes strolling distance of Silverstone race track. 

Before you arrive
  • We are located at the start of a quiet bridleway that provides access to our private driveway.
  • The village shop is approximately 1/3 mile away and stocks all essential items, further shops can be found in Towcester which is approx 5 miles away.
  • The village pub can be found opposite the village shop and serves a range of good value evening meals
  • Public transport in Silverstone is available but limited.
  • The nearest train stations are: Northampton, approx 11 miles away and Milton Keynes, approx 17 miles away.
  • Taxis are usually available at both stations; however we can make bookings in advance for you or arrange a local pick up.
  • We have 2 dogs and regret that we are therefore unable to accommodate your pets.
Upon arrival
  • Please call us if you need any help with additional directions.
  • Please advise us of your anticipated arrival time.
  • Check in is from 3pm to 6pm
  • Please pull onto the driveway and park in front of the garage
  • We offer assistance with your luggage
Check in
  • There is a paved path leading to the front door, please note there are no steps to negotiate.
  • Through the front door which has an opening of 76cm wide, this leads to the hallway which has doors (opening 81cm wide) leading to the double guest room, the private bathroom (opening 81cm wide) and our open plan kitchen / dining room.
  • The hallway (reception area), kitchen and dining room all have level tiled floors.
  • A selection of local information leaflets are available in the reception area.
  • A folder containing information for "places to eat" and "feedback from our guests" is available in our reception area
  • Breakfast is served in the large open plan kitchen / dining room which is approx 10 metres long.
  • Guests are welcome to bring take away food and consume in the dining area.
Guest rooms
  • All guest rooms are centrally heated and each room has thermostats on the radiators for your comfort.
  • The double guest room “Stowe” is located on the ground floor adjacent to this room is the private bathroom.
  • Stowe has a king size bed with approx 80cm access from both sides.
  • The hallway and private bathroom are both tiled and “Stowe” has wooden engineered flooring.
  • The other guest room with ensuite “Woodcote” is located on the first floor and is carpeted.  The ensuite has tiling to the floor.
  • Woodcote has two single beds.
  • There are 13 carpeted steps to the first floor; there is a hand rail to one side.
  • All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, torch and freesat TV 
  • All beds are complete with memory foam mattresses and fresh cotton linen 
Side garden
  • Access to the private side garden is through the patio doors and down one step which is 20cm high.
  • This side garden comprises of a large flat patio which accommodates the seating area.
  • There is access to the front of the property via a gate. 
Additional information
  • If the smoke alarm sounds or you discover a fire, please raise the alarm and leave the premises by your nearest available exit.  Exits can be found to the front, side and back of the property. You will have keys to open windows in your room.  Please make your way to the front gate at the end of our driveway.
  • We do not permit smoking in the property, please feel free to smoke in the garden and dispose of your cigarette stubs appropriately, we can provide a disposable ashtray.
  • If any special assistance is required please do not hesitate to ask us.
