Introduction
Our home, was the first house built in Silverstone after WW2, but don't fear we purchased the house in 2001 and doubled its size to provide two Guest Rooms with en-suite and spacious living accommodation. The house is on the old main road and within 15 minutes strolling distance of Silverstone race track and only 10 minutes from the White Horse Pub. We are one of the nearest Bed and Breakfasts to Silverstone Circuit, the only Tourist Board accredited are rated high on Trip Advisor.

Before you arrive
We are located on the old main road and have a private gravel driveway.
The village shop (Crofts) is approximately 1/5 mile away and stocks all essential items, further shops can be found in Towcester which is approx 5 miles away towards the M1 or Brackley approx 8 miles away towards the M40, both towns have a number of shops and petrol stations.
The village pub can be found opposite the village shop and serves a range of good quality evening meals.
Public transport in Silverstone is available but limited.
The nearest train stations are: Northampton, approx 11 miles away and Milton Keynes, approx 17 miles away.
Taxis are usually available at both stations; however we can make bookings in advance for you or arrange a local pick up.

Please advise us of your anticipated arrival time.
Check in is from 3pm to 6pm.
Please pull onto the driveway and park on the gravel area to the left of the house. If you are travelling with a trailer or larger vehicle please pull onto the drive and we will advise you of the best place to park.
We offer assistance with your luggage.

Check in​
There is a gravel drive leading to the front entrance which has one step and a tiled level floor. To enter the house we have a step into the porch and a further step into the entrance. The porch door and front doors are approx 81cm wide.
The hallway (reception area) and dining room all have level wooden floors.
A selection of local information leaflets are available in the reception area.
A folder containing information for "places to eat" and "feedback from our guests" is available in our reception area.
Breakfast is served on individual tables in the dining area.
There is a folder containing information on food available to view, particular regarding information that may be required regarding allergies and food intolerances.
Guests are welcome to bring take away food and consume it in the dining area (please ask and we will provide plates and cutlery and dispose of containers).

Guest rooms​
All guest rooms are centrally heated and each room has thermostats on the radiators for your comfort.
All rooms are located on the first floor, have level wood flooring and an attatched private en-suite.
The double room has a shower with a step approx 150mm to enter.
The twin room is fitted with a jacuzzi bath wih a shower over givng the choice of a bath or shower, the bath sides are approx. 450 mm high.
There are 14 carpeted steps to the first floor which include two turns, there is a hand rail to one side.
All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, torch and freesat TV.
All beds are complete with firm mattresses and fresh cotton linen.

Garden​
Access to the private garden is down the side of the house.
This garden comprises of a large flat patio in front of the cabin which accommodates the seating area. Guests are permitted to smoke in this area and we provide disposable ash trays for this purpose.
Guests are also permitted to smoke under the entrance at the front of the house, please use the disposable ash trays provided for this purpose.

Additional information​
By Law we have a linked fire alarm system so if any alarm activates your alarm will sound in your room, or if you discover a fire please raise the alarm and leave the premises by your nearest available exit (information in the room pack). Exits can be found to the front, side and back of the property. You will not have keys to lock windows in your room. Please make your way to the front gate at the end of our driveway.
If the alarm does go off and you do not make yourself available we will knock on your door to ensure you are safe.
We do not permit smoking in the property, please feel free to smoke in the garden and dispose of your cigarette stubs appropriately, we can provide a disposable ashtray.
